Penggunaan Past Future Perfect Tenses
- Menyatakan penyesalan atas sesuatu yang gagal di masa lalu.
Contoh :
I would have been a student of UI but I failed in SMNPTN 4 years ago.
(seharusnya saya sudah menjadi mahasiswa UI, akan tetapi saya gagal dalam SMNPTN 4 tahun lalu)
- Digunakan sebagai main clause dalam conditional sentence type III.
- Digunakan dalam direct-indirect speech.
